CCI/Russia Staff

There currently are four full-time and two part-time staff members working out of the national headquarters in St. Petersburg, Russia. These staff members are responsible for the day-to-day operations of CCI/Russia.

Dr. Alexander A. Kharitonov, President

Alexander A. Kharitonov was born in St. Petersburg. He has a wife Dasha and three sons: Benjamin, Ivan and Egor. He graduated from St. Petersburg State University in 1988, and obtained a Ph.D. in Philology from the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1993. He worked in the Leningrad Institute of Electric Engineering (1988-1989); the Institute of Russian Literature, Russian Academy of Sciences (1989-1997); Christian publishing houses "Bibles for All" (1991-1992) and "Logos" (1992-1993). Dr. Kharitonov has been directing CCI/Russia since its establishment in January, 1994. As the President, he is responsible for leading the Association in fulfilling the mission of CCI/Russia. He provides leadership on behalf of the Board, serves the Association membership, and directly supervises the headquarters staff.


Tatiana Bursianina, Program Manager

Tatiana Bursianina was born in Novosibirsk. In 1991 she graduated from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical Institute with a major in Biology and Chemistry. She worked as a high school teacher (1991-1994) and then as Sunday School Principal in Novosibirsk Church of the Covenant (1994-2000). Tatiana had the opportunity to work in a Pioneer Camp during Soviet times (1988) and has served in Christian camps since 1996. In 1998-2000 she was the Director of Camp Burning Hearts, Novosibirsk. Since February 2000 she served as CCI's Siberia Coordinator. In September 2001 Tatiana moved to St. Petersburg in order to fill the position of Program Manager in our headquarters. Her responsibilities in this capacity include gathering camp program information, organizing the exchange of experience between camp workers, coordinating training of instructors for the regional Staff Training Workshops and compiling CCI/Russia periodicals (Bank of Ideas, Camping Pravda) as well as other program publications.


Nikolai Ivanov, Translator

Nikolai Ivanov was born in the town of Sestroretsk, Leningrad region. He is married to his wife Irina and has a son Maxim. He worked in the Neva Christian School (1993-1994; 1995-1996), and studied and worked at the pastoral school in the Central Baptist Church of St. Petersburg (1996-1998). Nikolai joined the CCI/Russia team in March, 1999. He is responsible for facilitating international communication for CCI/Russia and meeting the translating and interpreting needs of the national headquarters.


Tatiana Seryegina, Bookkeeper

Tatiana Seryegina was born in the town of Zheltye Vody, Dnepropetrovsk region, Ukraine. She has lived in St. Petersburg since 1981. She studied at the Department of Finances and Economics of the Leningrad Branch of Moscow Polygraphic Institute. Tatiana joined the CCI/Russia staff on a part-time basis in May 1994; 1996-2003 she was the full-time bookkeeper for the"Bibles For All" Christian Society. Tatiana has an adult son Anton.


Ivan Kharitonov, Information Technology Manager

Ivan Kharitonov was born in Leningrad, but from a young age has lived in St. Petersburg. He has been involved in Christian camping since 1993, first as a camper, and since 2007 as a worker. He is a top student at St. Petersburg State University, where he studies management. Since March 2009 he has worked with CCI. Ivan is young and single.
