Advanced Program Leaders' Course (10 hours) - Mikhail Lukin (Voronezh, Russia), Tatyana Omelchuk (Novosibirsk, Russia). This course will cover principles that help Program Leaders create, run, and develop programs for Christian camps. Instructors will put special emphasis on making a camp session program. Only for the PL's who have taken the Basic Program Leader's Course.

Invention Skills (4 hours) - Sergey Korchagin (St. Petersburg, Russia). The instructor will present invention techniques and methods that will help you improve or make your own new games, crafts items, sport equipment, original lesson teaching forms, and unusual days in camp. All those will take the minimum of your time and resources.

Youth Camps (4 hours) - Evgeny Fokin (Samara, Russia).

Camps for Families with Children (4 hours) - Evgeny Kokora (Novorossiysk, Russia).

How to Write a Bible Program (9 hours) - Valentina Fedorova (Moscow, Russia).

Day Camps (4 hours) - Elena Zamashkina (Cherepovets, Russia), Susan Keiffer (Texas, USA). Day camp is not only the cheapest alternative to resident camp, but also opportunity to reach special groups of campers. Often Christians run day camps in summer even not calling them "a camp". Learn ideas from the best indigenous and western experience of Day Camping.

Initiative Tasks at a Shoestring! (2 hours) - Dan Pervorse (Georgia, USA). How to create and lead a spontaneous activity using just with what you have at hand, and then process and draw spiritual application. The most important part of such tasks is debriefing and making spiritual conclusions - the art which many counselors and sport instructors have yet to learn.

Trust Activities in Building Up Your Team (1 hour 30 minutes) - Dan Pervorse (Georgia, USA).

Block B. Leadership

Shepherding Your Staff (2 hours) - Dan DeGroat (Texas, USA). The camp will be only as good as your staff. If they are burned out and discouraged, your program and ministry will suffer accordingly. Come learn ways to care for them during the summer so they are encouraged and doing their best for Christ.

Biblical Leadership (2 hours) - Dan DeGroat (Texas, USA). The course will cover Eight Occupational Hazards of Leadership and other Biblical leadership issues.

How Not to Burn Out in Ministry (1 hours 30 minutes) - Tatyana Omelchuk (Novosibirsk, Russia). What is burnout, its symptoms, and how to recover from it.

Praying for Camp and in Camp: Principles and Ideas (2 hours) - Lubov Kudratova (Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan).

Leader's Role in Developing Camp Staff (2 hours) - Tammy Harrell (Tumen, Russia). Christian camp is a place where both campers and staff grow personally. What can you do to facilitate your staff growth as a Camp Director or Program Leader? Come to our class and learn why is it important, how to do it and what results you can achieve!

Block C. Administration

Basic Camp Directors' Course (12 hours) - Inars Mednis (Elgava, Latvia), Mikhail Pimenov (Moscow, Russia), Galina Gainulina (Tumen, Russia), Elena Zamashkina (Cherepovets, Russia). Even if you're a new camp director, you don't have to make all the costly and painful mistakes of your own in order to learn leading a camp. This course presents the foundational principles that will help you manage your camp work well. We strongly recommend all directors who have never taken this course at CCI training events to attend it.

Legal Aspects of Camp Management (4 hours) - Vladislav Vovk (Istra, Russia), Evgeny Kokora (Novorossiysk, Russia). You'll learn the laws affecting your camp and practical tips on how to keep them. You will cover aspects like: staff certification, safety, housing specifications, government reporting, rental contracts, dealing with Health Department, etc. The instructor will also offer you a package of the documents needed to register a camp as an independent entity.

Strategic Planning (4 hours) - Dan DeGroat (Texas, USA). Strategic planning is not the same as long-range planning. This seminar will explain the important difference. Learn how to evaluate your present ministry using a tried and proven method of analysis, so you can take advantage of ministry opportunities that will be most fruitful for God's Kingdom.

How to Raise Funds For Ministry From Geneva Global Foundation (2 hours) - Bob Hilts (California, USA). This practical course is to teach how to apply for grants. Bob Hilts is a Geneva Global Foundation consultant. The course is ONLY for Camp Directors Institute students.

Life and Safety in a Tent Camp (4 hours ) - Yury Listopadov (Shuya, Russia). How to select a place for your tent camp? What you must consider as you select and hire staff? How can you keep nature romantic atmosphere alive in daily hardships of outdoor life? Programming at tent camp, food preparation, security, and many more little secrets of big tent camping.

Camp Site Development and Hospitality (4 hours) - David Barnes (New York, USA). The course will focus on many practical low-cost ($100-$1000) innovations in camp site development, practical Christ-like ways for camps to more effectively practice hospitality, and how to effectively network with western churches. The Power Point format will have extensive photos and examples that will illustrate "best practices."

Owning a Campsite: Blessing or Curse. or What You Need To Remember When Purchasing a Campsite (4 hours ) - Vladislav Vovk (Istra, Russia), Evgeny Kokora (Novorossiysk, Russia). How to select a site? How do you inspect and evaluate the territory and buildings? How to identify the utility line condition? What will it cost to renovate the site? Where will the money come from? How strong is our church support? How do you negotiate? Sharing experience with other camp directors really interested in these issues will help you weigh the advantages and disadvantages of owning or leasing your campsite.

For experienced computer users and those with high interest in the subject. Must be familiar with MS Office, Windows (preferably XP) and using the internet.

Regional Staff Training Workshops (4 hours) - Tatiana Bursianina, Irina Rechitskaya, Alexander Kharitonov (all from St. Petersburg, Russia). Camp leaders from each of the CCI/Russia designated region will meet to get acquainted, plan joint events, and pray together. Each one of you can contribute into STW success by feasible help in planning and running a workshop. Think of possibilities that you and your camp have to help make an STW possible. We'll appreciate your suggestions you bring to your regional meeting.

Organizing Cabin Group Time (4 hours) - Viktoria Bortko (Riga, Latvia). It's a unique opportunity to participate in the very real camp cabin group. Minimum theory! Full immersion!

Musical Salon (4 hours) - Irina Romanova (Tumen, Russia). We have invited to the Conference music bands that not only lead worship in their churches and give concerts but also serve in Christian camps. Presented at the Conference are bands PeaceMaker (Moscow, Russia) and Young Lion (Tashkent, Uzbekistan). Each night you'll have a chance to meet one of the groups. Check for announcements!
